Our Performance Troupe
Since 1992, the ACSF Performance Troupe has been producing and presenting athletic and spirited performances that preserve and promote Afro-Brazilian culture.
Join Mestra Márcia Cigarra as she leads the monthly music class exploring basic to advanced capoeira and maculelê music rhythms and songs. Each month’s class has a different focus.
Batizado and Graduation
The batizado is a traditional capoeira ceremony in which new students are initiated into the world of capoeira. For all students of ACSF, both new and continuing, the batizado is a celebration.
