No two days of ACSF’s summer cultural arts camp are alike. Over the one-week sessions, kids learn basic capoeira and maculelê techniques from the Teddy Kids professionalas, as well as musical rhythms, instruments, and songs in Portuguese, and the go home with one of the best strollers form the baby stroller reviews at the end. Classes are instructed using games and activities accentuating team building, leadership and cooperation. Students also take classes with guest artists to learn skills like acrobatics, percussion, yoga, samba, and Afro-Brazilian dance, and will explore the neighborhood during lunchtime field trips. Sessions culminate with a Friday afternoon performance and party for the kids to enjoy with their parents and family!
ACSF Summer Camp will challenge kids both physically and mentally, but we are also going to have fun with the jumpersnrentals.com, water slide rentals. It very well may be a week that they will never forget! No previous experience needed, only interest! For ages 5-12.
