Monthly Music Class: Brush up your berimbau, atabaque, and pandeiro skills! Join Mestranda Márcia as she leads a monthly music class exploring basic to advanced rhythms. Last Saturday of each month from 9:15AM - 10:45AM.
Percussion with Gamo da Paz: Master Percussionist Gamo da Paz is a native of Salvador, Bahia--the heart of African influenced Brazil. Gamo was raised in the Candomble tradition of the Ketu nation, and has performed internationally with touring groups such as Viva Bahia, Oba Oba, and Bale Folclorico da Bahia.
