ACSF’s 25th annual Batizado Graduation Ceremony & Educational Series for teens and adults is just three weeks away! Students are training hard for this highly-anticipated event.
The five-day event gathers ACSF’s founders, artists and community together with guest master capoeiristas from ABADÁ Brazil and North America for a week of learning through workshops and lectures, and the Batizado graduation ceremony and performance.
We are excited to host, Mestre Morcego from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Mestre Morcego is one of ABADÁ-Capoeira’s top seven world leaders. Having been to SF numerous times, he is well-known in our community and students are eager for his arrival.
From October 5-8, Mestre Morcego will lead workshops for ABADÁ students from ACSF and for those that travel to SF for the events.
