On Saturday, March 21st, ACSF will host the 4th annual Youth Gincana. The Gincana, as it is called in Brazil, is a “capoeira-thon” fund raising event. The Youth Gincana is a fun-filled community event designed to promote the benefits of an active lifestyle, while also teaching the importance of community service! Youth of all levels should participate in this fun event, and family members are encouraged to come cheer on the students!
ACSF’s Gincana creates a venue for youth to strengthen their capoeira skills while simultaneously creating an opportunity for the students to be involved in raising funds to bring a guest artists to SF to participate in the Youth Batizado graduation ceremony, which will take place May 17th! The goal is to raise $2,000.
