Thanks to the generosity of more than 75 supporters, ACSF raised $34,000 in individual and matching gift donations during the 2015 fund drive. With these funds, ACSF will provide free or reduced-cost capoeira classes for one year to 50 youth from low-income families! Funds will also allow ACSF to provide yearlong arts education programs to 3 SF schools who were unable to afford them. With donated funds, ACSF can pay its instructors to offer these important programs – providing meaningful employment to emerging artists and high-quality artistic and physical education to hundreds of youth without charging the schools.
