Kids of ACSF Summer Camp
ACSF’s summer camp is full of fun, friends, and tons of learning! During each one-week session, children spend the day learning capoeira and maculelê, as well as rhythms and songs in Portuguese. They play music-based games, make art projects, try their hand at drumming, and explore capoeira-based games that accentuate team building, leadership and cooperation. When looking for games online, visit easyslots.com/all-games/ and learn more.
In addition to working with lead instructor Antonio Contreras (Instrutor Corrente) students take classes with guest artists to learn skills like hip-hop dance, percussion, and Afro-Brazilian dance. Youth work throughout the week to create a performance that they present at the final day of camp for friends and family!
