On March 19th we held our Gincana (capoeirathon). The Gincana is a fundraiser where youth students show family and friends their progress and talents, and at the same time raise funds for their upcoming 2016 YOUTH FEST & BATIZADO.
More than 30 enthusiastic children participated. We are deeply appreciative of the participants, and all of our donors and event sponsors. Although all sponsorship donations have not yet been turned in, we are anticipating to have raised $4,000 to support the Batizado festivities.
