PARTY WITH A PURPOSE
A fundraising event to support bringing Mestre Camisa to San Francisco.
Friday, October 26, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

ACSF will bring Mestre Camisa, the legendary founder of ABADÁ-Capoeira and Mestra Márcia’s longtime teacher and mentor, to San Francisco to teach a series of workshops this December.

To support his visit, we are hosting our first-ever Party with a Purpose fundraising event. Our goal is to raise $7,500.

We invite you, and your friends and family to our beautiful space to gather and socialize with a purpose! The Brazilian themed evening will feature light Brazilian fare, live and DJ’d Brazilian music, a youth performance, as well as special guest speakers!

Friday, October 26, 2018, 5:30 -8:30 p.m.
Admission at the door is $35/person. Cash bar. Casual or fancy attire.

Please support ACSF in preserving capoeira through cultural learning. Mestre Camisa’s visit is a unique and critical opportunity for our intergenerational community to learn directly from one of capoeira’s most influential leaders. Through lectures, classes, music, and storytelling, Mestre Camisa will pass knowledge, artistic tradition, ideas and cultural material essential to the development and sustainability of capoeira and the ACSF organization.

Can’t make it? You can still support by donating online, or volunteering your time. To volunteer, please contact us at info@www.abada.org or 415-206-0650.
