On Friday evening, we will present the Batizado graduation ceremony and performance. The Batizado is a traditional ceremony, which welcomes new students into the art, and recognizes the growth of new and continuing students through a changing of cords ceremony. The event includes an opening performance by top-level guest artists and ACSF group members. Following the event will be pot-luck reception. This is a great chance to take photos, meet the ACSF community, and celebrate with friends and family!
Come celebrate the student’s accomplishments and experience the energy of capoeira and Brazilian culture! Bring the whole family! Entry is by donation and no one is turned away for lack of funds.
