Dear ACSF Family,
During this difficult and uncertain time, the tenets we learn through Capoeira are being called upon: adaptability; improvisation; resilience; cooperation; solidarity; and creative problem solving. We at ACSF are applying these principals to our efforts to support our artist and management staff, facilities, and community.
ACSF is committed to continuing its mission to use Capoeira to empower and strengthen individuals and communities. While we know the abrupt (temporary) loss of access to physical programs runs deep, the loss of community is undoubtedly missed even more.
The bonds and experiences we collectively share provide a sense of joy, support, belonging, and confidence in the road ahead. We want you to know that while we may not be gathering as a community in the ways we are accustomed, we are here for youand actively working to find new ways to serve and join our community.
