Entrance at the door: $10 donation for non-participating attendees; Kids 12 and under: Free
Location: ACSF Capoeira Arts Center
ACSF’s Batizado & Educational series held December 6-10, 2017 culminates with the Batizado Graduation Ceremony & Performance event. The Batizado is a traditional capoeira ceremony in which new students are initiated into the world of capoeira by playing with a master level artist, and some new and continuing students receive a cord in recognition of their growth. The ceremony is complimented by performances including an opening performance by top-level guest artists and ACSF’s company performers. Following the event will be an after-party gathering with refreshments from 4:00-7:00p.m. All are welcome to stay and relax and have a chance to meet the artists.
