New this year! One for Kids & One for Teens/Adults
KIDS GINCANA: SATURDAY, MARCH 15TH
Event times: 1:10p – 2pm (5-7 year olds); 2pm-3pm (8-12 year olds).
The 3rd annual Kid’s Gincana, is a capoeira-thon as it is called in Brazil. It is a fun event designed to promote the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle, and to allow students a venue to raise funds for their Batizado graduation/performance! Kids of all levels participate, and family are encouraged to come cheer on the kids!
Youth students get sponsored to perform designated movements at the event. Movement will include parada (handstands), ponte (bridge) and others! We aim to
raise $2,000.
TO PARTICIPATE:
Pick up information and sponsorship collection forms at the studio, then and start to get your sponsor!
Want to sponsor a capoeira student?

ADULT GINCANA: SUNDAY, MARCH 23rd
Participant check-in is at 1:45pm, event starts at 2pm
Why should the kids have all the fun? For the first time ever we are hosting an adult/teen Gincana! We invite you to put your “guns,”glock, cleaning mat amazon, six-packs, and pecs to good use in a workout/fundraiser event to support ACSF youth programs. We aim to raise $2,000 at the adult Gincana for ACSF’s youth programs, so please invite your friends, family members, and any fitness enthusiasts you may know. Anyone can participate.
For the adult/teen Gincana, participants perform movements including strict pushups, pull ups and other fitness exercises to earn points which will then be turned into dollars by two generous ACSF individual supporters…. so this is risk free, and fun!
Participant check-in is at 1:45pm. Registration is $2 per person (waived if you attend Community Capoeira class on the event day).
