A global day of giving and unity in response to COVID-19.
The experience of the past two months has reinforced what we already knew: the ACSF community is strong, connected and committed to supporting ACSF in its efforts to use Capoeira to build a healthy, just, and vibrant society in which people feel connected to and responsible for their community.
Since the start of the Shelter in Place ACSF has endured a loss of nearly 25% of its operating budget. While we are excited about the prospect of in-person activities beginning again soon, we are well aware the number of activities and resulting revenue streams will continue to be limited into the foreseeable future.
If you donated during the month of March or April, THANK YOU! Support from our community has helped sustain our programs, operations and staff during a very challenging time.
If you haven’t donated yet, please do! No amount is too small and every dollar makes a difference. Don’t forget that the CARES Act allows you to deduct donations up to $300 to nonprofit organizations like ACSF, even if you don’t itemize. Consider it an investment in shaping what the future looks like post-COVID19.
