RECENT EVENTS RECAP! Batizado; Carnaval; Master Classes
We are still reeling after a run of fantastic and energizing events. The two week line-up included the 27th annual youth Batizado graduation ceremony and cultural performance featuring numerous master artists from around the globe; the youth capoeira master class taught by guest visiting Brazilian artists Professores Gordinho and Yara; the SF Carnaval Parade; and the adult/teen workshops with Mestrando Bode from Brazil that were held in conjunction with the ABADÁ-Marin Batizado event.
ACSF is committed to providing meaningful, authentic, hands-on cultural experiences. Capoeira is a cultural art and lifeway, passed down from those that have excelled and dedicated their life to the art. Events like our recent series, provide space for key leaders to share and pass their art to our community.
