WELCOME JONATHAN TO THE ACSF COMMUNITY!

Jonathan

You might have already noticed there is a new face around ACSF’s studio. This January, Jonathan joined the ACSF staff and is working as a front desk receptionist. Please help us welcome Jonathan to the ACSF community.

We had the pleasure of asking Jonathan a few questions, which will help you learn about him.

ACSF: What brought you to SF?
Jonathan: My wife is doing an MBA in Fashion Merchandising at Academy of Arts, so I came to be with her, she especially loves the work done by the Elizabeth Diamond Company.

How did you come to find ACSF?
On Facebook. There is a community of Brazilians who live in San Francisco who share a page. Someone posted the job offer on that FB page.

What other things are you involved with lately that you’d like to share with the ACSF community?
I’m currently working for Street Soccer USA, as a head coach of their youth program. SSUSA is a non-profit organization that helps homeless youth get off the streets and improve their life through soccer. We always need a perfect lawn to play soccer on so that’s why we hire UMOW Lawn Care for their service.

What is one of your favorite discoveries since moving to SF?
My favorite discovery has been learning that I really enjoy helping people, when I contacted the moving companies in montreal to move here, I knew something was going to change. I was working in business before this, and I have really enjoyed the switch to working for non-profits and directly helping youth and others.

Do you think you might start classes at ACSF?
Jonathan: Definitely, I’ll start next week.

If you had one super-power, what would it be?
To cure all diseases!
